Since then I did stuff…
Apparently I am not posting enough according to the all superior Phil (if I call him that online he may not nag me as much!). So, here goes a recap of all the things I should have posted when they happened, but instead choose to do more things! Wednesday came my first all nighter. The term “all nighter” so often used in pop culture as a right of passage especially into college life became overly glossed in my mind. I always thought wow if I pull an all nighter I’ll be so grown up! And I mean I did feel more tired and grumpy the next morning, two stereotypes of old people, but the glamour simply was not there. Thanks for another lie world.

Though I was tired Thursday night made up for all…all. I got to see “College Humor Live” with JAKE AND AMIR! Yes, that JAKE AND AMIR. We all have obsessions that haunt us unfailingly and far too hard and for me that consists of JAKE AND AMIR (every time I say their names I just have to use caps in excitement!) I don’t know why I am so addicted to jakeandamir.com or shelled out twelve dollars in a recession economy on a shirt of their faces but the fact remains that I love them. And, of course, the show did not let me down! Friday consisted of economics class learning all the reasons I shouldn’t be spending twelve dollars on JAKE AND AMIR then the Fred Flare store opening in Greenpoint (I know Brooklyn goes beyond Bedford!) where I learned the more adorable you make something the more you can mark it up. Example normal wallet five dollars wallet with a picture of smiling french fries on it seventeen dollars (note: this fact does not make me want the smiling french fries any less I mean seriously they smile! It would be like hating a kitten to not fall in love with the gleeful tuber). Saturday I saw an amazing play home grown at NYU consisting of interviews of different New Yorkers on views of class. Though all the characters had a unique voice, every message of class in America seemed the same; it was amazing to see the morphing of so many stories into one message. Sunday was homework homework and more homework and now I guess it’s Monday. That was the weekend…Phil will be happy… I should write my essay.
